JAMES’ STORY.
I began my plumbing business a few months back and to be honest, wasn’t really sure what to do in an advertising way or even how to get my name around. I’d opened up a Facebook page and a LinkedIn account but didn’t really progress to the next step. A friend introduced me to Georgia, thinking she might give me a few tips. I was wrong because she gave me so much more. Brilliant, informative and easy to follow. The knowledge put out has helped my business grow to the point that I’m now having to turn away customers.
Not only this but there are also links for trades suffering with mental health issues and being in the Facebook group, I believe, has helped my own issues in knowing I’m not the only person out there. Friendly and approachable. If I had a specific query I can message the group for support from other trades or speak directly to Georgia and I get a reply very quickly which always helps me as I can be anxious at times and begin to worry that I’m not doing the right thing.
I would highly recommend to Trades who are starting out or have been in the trade for a while because no matter the question, no matter the issue, they are willing to give you the time, the energy and the confidence to move forward and better your own career.
